Plaid every day.
Well, hello there. I’m Kurtis.
I’m a creative soul. I have a background in graphic design and copywriting, and I’m a pretty decent photographer. But I’m also a data nerd, and that makes me a bit ambidextrous. I’ve run the numbers to manage inventory, set price points, optimize media spend, analyze performance, and to solve for a variety of other business needs.
And I’m a manager — and a pretty good one (from what I’ve been told). In my last role, I had the highest upward review scores and lowest team member attrition rate over any other manager in the division. I believe in hiring good, talented people and giving them the autonomy and voice to get the job out the door. And I run lean and efficient processes that focus on quality of work and customer satisfaction.
I have degrees in graphic design, advertising, and business management, the three most expensive pieces of paper I’ll ever own. But the knowledge gained from this has served as the foundation of a broad set of skills which which most other candidates cannot compete.
I wear plaid every day, (this is Oregon, after all). But it’s also what I am — layers of creative and analytical skills that, together, create something that looks great, has a ton of practicality, and it super comfy.

The one on the right.
I’m happily married with one incredibly overdramatic daughter. I’m innovative and resourceful (with more home improvement projects started than I can count), loyal and dependable, friendly, diplomatic, and easy-going, a Virgo and an INTJ.
I believe in a healthy work-life balance and a solid work day, in owning my successes as well as my mistakes, and that the sum of the parts is always greater that the whole.
I am looking forward the next new step; an experience for me that is filled with new friends, new challenges, learning new things, and an opportunity to bring new value to a great organization and its customers and stakeholders.
